BookOnPublish
Designed for use by individuals and small businesses, BookOnPublish is a consumer-level version of the MediaTechnics multimedia digital publishing system, with Professional and Publisher versions under development. BookOnPublish makes it easy to generate multimedia digital publications by adding layers to static PDF files. Those layers can include links to videos, animations, Web resources, YouTube videos, sound files, and practice tests. BookOnBrowser Converter
The BookOnBrowser Converter makes it very easy to convert BookOnPublish content to a format that can be displayed in a browser. BookOnBrowser products work on most Macs, Windows PCs, Linux computers, and the iPad, iPod Touch, and iPhone. You can download the BookOnBrowser Converter from www.bookonpublish.com. You can also try a BookOnBrowser now, right in your browser. (No installation needed.)
WebTrack
WebTrack delivers student data from digital textbooks to instructors. WebTrack uses store-and-forward technology, very much like e-mail. When a student submits data from a product, the data is placed in the instructor’s queue on the WebTrack servers. Instructors use the local WebTrack instructor software to download data from the queues to their local computers. WebTrack is supported by all digital textbooks published by MediaTechnics Corporation. A special version of WebTrack is also available for use with products created using BookOnPublish Educational Version. To learn more about WebTrack and related products, visit the MediaTechnics Instructor’s Resource Site or view the browser-based, multimedia version of the Technology Guide for instructors.
MediaTechnics Animation Authoring and Runtime System
Many MediaTechnics products utilize standard video and Flash animation files. However, many publications feature interactive animations and skills tests created and run in the MediaTechnics’ proprietary animation system. This system features an optimized authoring engine that significantly reduces the time and cost of animation production compared to development in Flash.
