Free Sample BookOnDownload
New Perspectives on Computer Concepts, 2010 is available as a sample BookOnDownload for Mac or Windows. The sample includes the first chapter of the book, including the media elements, Web links, learner feedback, and assessment options found in the actual BookOnCD and BookOnDownload versions of the product.
A BookOnDownload consists of a single file that contains the content of the book as well as the associated media elements. After the initial download, the BookOnDownload does not require a constant Internet connection as it runs from a folder on your hard drive or USB Flash drive. If you prefer a browser-based product that requires an Internet connection, try the BookOnBrowser version.
For Windows (XP, Vista, Windows 7):

1.Download NP2010_Sample_Setup.zip. (51Mb).

2.Unzip to reveal NP2010_Sample_Setup.exe.

3.Run NP2010_Sample_Setup.exe to install the program and data files.
For the Mac (OS X with PowerPC or Intel processor):

1.Download NP2010MacSample.zip. (66Mb).

2.Double-click NP2010MacSample.zip to unzip it.

3.Double-click the unzipped folder to open it.

4.Double-click MacBookOnCD to start the program.
